ROB TURNBULL - HAWICK

The death occurred on Monday of Rob Turnbull (83) from Hawick, who was one of the Scottish Games scenes colourful characters.

Well known for his love for a good bet with the bookies at Border meetings, Rob had a long association with his beloved sport, and knew the running game inside out.

A service will be held at John Beattie and Sons, Funeral Directors Hawick on Thursday 24th December, followed by interment in Wilton Cemetery.
