Hamilton takes SHGA Light Field title at Oban writes Shane Fenton
SHGA LIGHT FIELD [JUMPS] CHAMPIONSHIP
Allan Hamilton won the SHGA Light Field[Jumps] Championship at Mossfield Park Park Oban on Thursday, Hamilton who earlier in the day won the SHGA 100M Championship won all three events edging out Scottish Pole Vault champion Jax Thoirs who was runner up in both the high and the long competitions.
Hamilton who set a new ground record of 1.95m at Crieff the previous week attempted the Oban GR of 1.96m but it was not to be on this occasion.
A Scottish junior jumps championship is to be staged at Pitlochry Games on September 14th more details to follow.
