GIBBIE McINTOSH - LONACH GAMES

Gibbie McIntosh, secretary of Lonach Games for 25 years, has sadly died at the aged 86. Gibbie was a great supporter of the SHGA and was one of the prime movers in forming the Grampian Games and was its Hon Life President.. Although in favour of cooperation between games he always guarded their independence. He was one of life’s characters -- innovative, humorous and dedicated and constantly supported and encouraged youngsters into all the games disciplines. His wise counsel will be greatly missed.
